Decrease of Perception of Corruption in Local Self-Government (SPEKULAS)

Despite certain efforts made so far by Croatian Government, corruption stays significant problem of Croatian society. Even though local units spend significant amounts of public money through public procurement procedures over the year, and even though they have the authority to deal with valuable property which they own, so far no anti-corruption measure was aimed at local governments exclusively.

Promotion of Town Twinning Between Croatian and European Local Self-Government Units

Personal interaction and meeting between various peoples of Europe leads to better understanding and greater connection between EU member states. Therefore, with that in mind, Association of Municipalities of the Republic of Croatia will during the year 2009 implement a project titled „Promotion of Twinning Between Croatian and European Local Self-Government Units“.
